feral cats
concept for magazine
I am going to make a magazine- about what inspires artists..
Examples of stories:
harajuku girls- how they inspire artist Gwen Stefani and entire clothing line.
Cats- how they inspire artists- especially feral cats they are beautiful.
Radiohead- how there music inspires
I also want to do a story about fashion- $500 for staples this season (because this pertains to me, the working girl) but of course we will see how that ties in.
Egon Schiele and maybe van gogh artists that were inspirational
demographic- I would have to be safe and say me- 25-35 yr old women
geographic- urban
income- not much- for the working girl, like me, $25,000 - $60,000 under $100,000

setting my color theme

I am not sure if this should be first- but it is on my mind for my magazine. A little while ago, I watched the "extras" on the dvd Trainspotting. I found it awesome that a color scheme was thought of initially by the art director. I thought they did such an awesome job on the colors of trainspotting, and it is one of my all-time favorite movies.
For my magazine- I look to the colors of the movie "lost in translation" by sophia coppola. I think the colors are beautiful faded pastels. I also like the moody lighting in the movie- but I just want to say on the moody dreamy side.
